Mechanical Engineering Qualifications

Machine design from concept to detail drawings since 1990.

Mechanical design experience in pneumatic slides, servo (both rotary and linear) and stepper motors, timing and steel belt drives, lead screws, cams, linear and rotary bearings, linear and rotary encoders, wire and cable management, proximity, fiber optic and laser sensors.

8 years experience in field support of equipment in service, requiring both domestic and international travels.

26 years mechanical drafting experience from manual board layout to CAD including AutoCAD and Pro-Engineer.

Project Management Qualifications
- Experienced in all phases of technical project management from initial scope and justification, to final project closeout and evaluation.
- Proven track record of working closely with customers, engineering, and manufacturing, in the analysis of complex technical requirements to develop creative solutions to meet customers’ needs.
Manufacturing Experience
- Transition of new products from engineering to manufacturing including bill of material structure, process build flow, production tooling and fixtures, test stands, quality measurements, work instructions, training and packaging.
- Process improvement analysis using a wide variety of quality tools including: Process Mapping, Cause and Effect Analysis, FMEA, Perato Analysis, and Fishbone Diagramming.
